The 2010 Babolat Shaw Park OJT is becoming a popular event on the South-East Queensland tournament circuit with record entries for this years event. This year over 150 players have entered the event up slightly from last year.
Shaw Park Tennis Centre manager Shane Mikic said “we are extremely happy to build on our entries this year especially given the overall downward trend of participation in similar ranked events. We really want to lift the profile of this tournament and attract the best players our region has to offer.”
The tournament has secured Babolat as the naming rights sponsor, with additional sponsorships from other well known companies such as Coca-Cola, Worldwide Online Printing, Affordable Trophies, Tennis Gear and Nestle Peters.
