Red Hot Shots(5-8yrs old)

This is our entry-level class for Red-Ballers and is perfect for first-time players or kids who have played a small amount of tennis.

The Red stage is for beginners. The red ball is larger than a yellow ball and doesn’t bounce as high (just 25 per cent compression), making it a breeze for even the youngest players to hit it comfortably. The courts and nets used in the Red stage are much smaller and easier for kids to move around.

Players will work on developing all of the fundamental skills of tennis including rallying, serving, coming to the net and scoring and competing.

We believe it is important for students to play the game of tennis. We offer the opportunity to play matches under the supervision of our coaches. Further information can be found Here.

  • Players Aged 5-8
  • Recommended racquet size: 21–23 inches (depends on child height) These racquets can be purchased cheaply at our tennis centre pro shops.
  • $29.50 per session.
  • Class duration 45 minutes.
  • Average Coach Ratio: 1:6

We encourage students and players to bring the following equipment to their lessons:

Racquet, hat, sport shoes, sunscreen and water bottle.
