Record Super League Teams at Shaw Park
Shaw Park Tennis Centre is proving to be very popular with the local tennis community as it maintains the largest number of teams nominated for the Tennis Brisbane super league competition.
Milton Rothman the CEO from Tennis Brisbane said that “Shaw Park Tennis Centre is the largest single contributor of super league teams from any tennis centre in Brisbane. They (being Shaw Park & Everton Tennis Centres) contribute over 100 teams to the competition which represents more than 20% of the total team numbers. Shaw Park Tennis Centre is the single largest contributor of teams from all centres in Brisbane with over 70 teams playing from that centre alone”.
Mark Bloomfield owber of Everton Tennis and operator of Shaw Park Tennis Centre said, “We are very happy with the response to our marketing efforts over the past few months. Shaw Park Tennis Centre is starting to become well established in the local community and players are flocking to join. Many new players are returning to tennis and enjoying the new competition formatrs and modern facilities at Shaw Park”.
