Shawpark Tennis Centre has a comprehensive junior/kids tennis lessons program that caters to young players of all ages and skill levels. At each stage, players receive extensive direction and support from our expert coaching staff led by Head Coaches Amy Russell and Andrew Grocott.

Come and learn from some of Queensland’s most experienced coaches with extensive knowledge of the game. All of our coaches are qualified, experienced, and will oversee our tennis programs with a focus on player development and player pathways.

Hot Shots Tennis is Tennis Australia’s official starter program. It is designed to let children develop technically and tactically in an environment that is always fun and exciting.

Aimed at children aged from 4 – 14 years old, Hot Shots uses modified courts, shorter racquets, and softer balls to keep things fun and easy. The Shaw Park Tennis Centre Junior Program is based on a “learning through play” philosophy where children, rally, score and serve. At TennisGear, our experienced team of coaches run a tailored program designed to develop each child’s game in a fun, encouraging, and social environment.
