Tennis Gear’s Rally Awards have been designed for players between the ages of 2 and 12 years old, with specific activities for blue, red, orange and green stages. They are ideal for players of all standards as players can advances through the levels at their own pace.
The Tennis Gear Rally Awards measure the ability of the players to play tennis in an objective framework which will ensure standards are consistent across our venues. The Tennis Gear Rally Awards will also help Hot Shots players learn in stages and take part in exciting challenges with regular rewards, which encourage them to develop their tennis skills at their own pace.
Tennis Gear Rally Awards are split into four categories – Blue (2 to 4 years), Red (4 to 8 years), Orange (8 to 10 years) and Green (10 to 12 years). Please click on your appropriate category below in order to see the required playing level and set your goals for the next level.
Blue (2 to 4 years – previously known as Fun-damentals Tennis)
No minimum playing standard required! Our Hot Shots Blue players learn the basics skills and how to enjoy the game through a series of fun activities, based on the fundamental areas of balance, co-ordination, agility, movement and sending and receiving skills. There are no specific Awards at this stage however there are skills and effort stickers to encourage the players!
Red Ball (4 to 8 years)
